The Projects Wakeboard and Wakeskate camp is proud to announce the dates for professional wakeboarder Shawn Watson to guest coach! Shawn Watson started out his wakeboarding career receiving the rookie of the year award in 1999, and has consistently been on the podium since then. Watson has not only mastered his skills behind a boat, but is also one of the most stylish riders on rails. Keith Lyman to Coach at The Projects!
You read that right, professional wakeboarder Keith Lyman will be coaching at The Projects Wakeboard and Wakeskate Camp, for three select weeks, from March 29th to June 4th, 2010. Keith Lyman has been in the wakeboard industry since 1998, became professional in 2002, and has spent the last eight years traveling the wake scene. Known for untouchable style, Lyman continuously raises the bar of free style riding. He is hosting the camp at The Projects because of its ability to cater to all ability levels and aspects of the sport with its two boat lakes, rail park lake and System 2.0 ...
Girls ride day!
After a few gray and rainy days, the sun finally came out just in time for the Girls Ride Day. Good music, free hot dogs, wakeskating/wakeboarding, and a picnic table full of girls...sounds like a fun-filled day, and it was. Several girls were introduced to the System 2.o for the first time and learned some new tricks. The best trick on the box won Cassandra Scott a Nike 6.0 backpack for a shuv-on, shuv-off the box, impressive. There was also a pair of Nike 6.0's up for grabs, several Pro-Tec helmets, Skull Candy headphones, and a few pairs of Integrity ...
Girls Ride Day!
Ladies, come hang out and ride with us at the Projects! Wakeboarders & wakeskaters welcome. We will be riding the System 2 from 12-5pm and grilling out. Feel free to bring extra snacks to throw on the grill, floats, etc! If you are under 18 and need your parents to sign your Projects waiver, you can download it here. 1st annual Projects Club fundraiser
Thanks to everyone that showed up this afternoon to support The Projects Wakeboard and Wakeskate camp! It was a great day filled with corn hole, hot dogs, drinks, music, give a ways, and more fun on the System 2.0 than you can shake a stick at! Despite the cold weather and harsh wind, everyone kept the action on the water hot. Two of the prizes went to the best trickery on the water, and another prize went out to the longest corn hole toss.
